The English Sofa Company Blog first appeared online in August 2005, but the excellent new website you see today\u00a0was revamped in October 2009.\u00a0 The English Sofa Company has been providing quality upholstery from our factory in Manchester for over 50 years, but as our styles have changed over those times so have the way we promote and offer our sofas.<\/p>\n
The English Sofa Company is one of only a few true\u00a0English Sofa Manufacturers.\u00a0 Based in Manchester our factory, workshop and\u00a0showroom is the hub of our business and production and home to our growing manufacturing and sales team.<\/p>\n
Manufacturing in the UK is only part of our success.\u00a0 Investing in young people is also at the core of our business.\u00a0 From our apprenticeship scheme and youth employment initiatives to our graduate development programs, we train our team to become the best they can.<\/p>\n
Operating from a newly extended factory in Manchester, the English Sofa Company now has a fully refurbished showroom we are able to display a wide range of leather and fabric sofas.\u00a0 Our furniture display does change every 3 months, so please do visit regularly to see the complete range.<\/p>\n

As upholstery manufacturers we are always looking to introduce new designs and styles, our latest and most significant development is our stunning range of upholstered beds.\u00a0 We have a small range of beds and mattresses on display and as with our sofas each can be upholstered in just about any fabric.<\/p>\n
