Description

A Channel Bed Defined by Vertical Upholstery

The Florence Upholstered Channel Bed uses strong vertical detailing to create a striking focal point without making the bedroom feel overly ornate. Broad upholstered channels run from the base to the top of the headboard, giving the surface depth, rhythm and a beautifully structured appearance.

Unlike traditional buttoned or heavily tufted beds, the Florence keeps its detailing simple. The repeated vertical sections provide all the character the design needs, making it particularly well suited to contemporary bedrooms as well as more classic interiors where a cleaner upholstered finish is preferred.

A generously padded headboard softens the strong lines and creates an inviting backdrop for pillows and bedding. The upholstered side rails continue the chosen fabric around the frame, while the low profile base and understated timber feet allow the channelled headboard to remain the main feature.

The Florence can be upholstered in a wide choice of fabrics and colours, allowing the vertical detailing to take on a very different character depending on the finish selected. Rich velvets can emphasise the depth of each channel, while textured neutrals create a calmer and more understated look.

Handmade to order, the Florence is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a channel bed with distinctive upholstery, clean proportions and enough detail to make the bed the centrepiece of the room without overwhelming the surrounding interior.
