A new government initiative designed to slash urban youth unemployment is set to launch soon. The initiative will see £50m divided between eight key regional cities, and with Salford recently being named as the toughest place in the country to find a job this comes as a huge relief to those affected by unemployment.

To build our range of distinctive Chesterfield Sofas, Corner Sofas and Sofa Beds we use only the best solid beech frames from sustainable forests, serpentine springs, high quality foams and the top 5% of UK hides. The quality of our sofas is far more than skin deep.
And these are the reasons why we were the chosen destination for the Deputy Prime Minister when deciding to visit Greater Manchester, one of the areas benefiting from the new initiative. In a visit to our showroom, Nick Clegg spent time finding out about our manufacturing processes, chatting with our apprentices and even gave a helping hand putting the final touches on our Crompton Fabric Chesterfield Sofa. It was a visit that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
With this new initiative, coupled with the governments existing wage incentive scheme, we can see a brighter future for the unemployed youth of Greater Manchester and hope that the next time the Deputy Prime Minister comes to visit it’s because the unemployment figures have dropped dramatically.
